Mesoestetic Global Eyecon Treatment

Earlier this week we looked at the causes of dark circles and the products we recommend to treat them. Now we are looking at a brand new solution from Mesoestetic to tackle a number of concerns around the eye, including drooping upper eyelids, expression lines and wrinkles, under eye bags and circles. Read on to find out more about the Mesoestetic Global Eyecon Treatment

In a clinical setting, we often see patients expressing concern about the delicate eye area. A careful assessment is required to ensure measurable improvements are achieved and patient expectations are met.The anatomical characteristics of the eye area must be considered when embarking on a course of treatments. The skin in this area is much thinner than the rest of the body, there's a low density of sebaceous glands and a higher concentration of capillaries, making it a particularly unstable area in relation to external aggression and age related inflammation. The most common complaints include dark circles, wrinkles, pigmentation, under eye bags and droopy eyelids.

What is the Global Eyecon Treatment?

Introducing Global Eyecon, a new and innovative dual treatment from Mesoestetic offering a chance to challenge and improve the common concerns around the eye area. The treatment is made up of a two-step process starting with a peel and followed by a microneedling solution at a follow-up appointment one week later.

How does the treatment work?

The Periocular Peel has been developed particularly for the delicate eye area and targets all types of visible wrinkles: static, dynamic and gravitational. The peel combines Azelaic, Salicylic, Lactic, Phytic and Citric acids, which work together to treat problems relating to pigmentation, helping to brighten skin in this delicate area.

One week after the initial peel at a follow-up appointment, a Periocular Solution is applied to the eye area, this is a sterile solution that combines ingredients for a depigmenting and decongesting action, which improves microcirculation.

The solution has been specially developed to help target and improve dark circles, under eye bags and eye drooping. Using a microneedling technique, the solution is introduced intradermally, to help improve circulation and tighten skin.

Once the microneedling process is complete, a soothing hydrogel mask containing hyaluronic acid, aloe vera and cucumber extract is applied to the eye contour too cool, refresh and calm the eye area post-treatment.

When will I see results & is there any downtime?

The combination of these two treatment modalities - the Periocular Peel and Microneedling Solution - gives extremely pleasing and measurable results with a visible difference from the first session. The treatment is comfortable and there's no downtime, other than slight redness in the eye contour area, but this should subside within 24 hours.

How many treatments are required?

A course of 6 treatments is recommended, including 3 Periocular Mesopeels and 3 Periocular Microneedling solutions each spaced 1 week apart. The full treatment course is £600 and includes a Mesoestetic Eye cream to help support improvements at home. For the best results, 6 monthly maintenance treatments are advised alongside the daily use of a Mesoestetic Eye Cream to encourage continued improvement.
