Ampoules: The Future of Skincare?

Who would invest in a bottle of eternal youth? A little vial filled with a liquid taken from the fountain of youth? I know I certainly would! What are ampoules?

Ampoules are individually packaged vials, usually made of glass or plastic, containing the perfect shot of nutrients for your skin. The advantage of ampoules, as opposed to traditional serums, is the expert packaging that helps to keep the product fresh. The individually packaged treatments maintain the strength and potency of active ingredients such as Vitamin C, Glycolic Acid and more.

How do I use an ampoule?

We love the range of ampoules from Mesoestetic. They come with the tools you need to open, apply and store the ampoules. When opening, make sure you refer to individual packaging for specific instructions but this is how the Mesoestetic Ampoules work:

1. Open the ampoule using the opener provided in the bottom of the pack. Place on the neck of the ampoule and break.
2. Fix the plastic neck attachment to the open ampoule, remove the cap, turn it upside down and press the body of the plastic neck to modulate the flow of product.
3. Apply every morning to clean dry skin before applying your usual Mesoestetic cream treatment.
4. Spread over the face, neck and neckline and massage until completely absorbed. This should then be followed by the application of a specific sunscreen suited to the needs of the skin type, such as Mesoprotech advanced solutions.
5. If there is any product left over after application, replace the cap on the plastic neck attachment and store the ampoule in the holder supplied with the pack.

Just as you would with your normal serum, the contents of the ampoule should be applied to the face, neck and neckline after cleansing, before continuing with the rest of your skincare regime.
